What Is S2S Ventures
S2S Ventures is Switzerland’s first student-led deep-tech venture capital fund, investing in pre-seed spin-offs from ETH Zurich, EPFL, and HSG.
My Role
I joined as one of the first student partners and helped build the fund’s early operating model. This included designing the deal sourcing pipeline, defining investment workflows, and writing the first investment memos. I led the fund’s first investments, including Adaptyv Bio (biotech) and Citus (medtech), working directly with founders to evaluate technical feasibility and early commercial potential. I also trained and handed over to the first cohort of investment managers, and represented the fund at founder events and within the ETH community.
Outcomes
We established the fund’s early operating model, including the investment pipeline, decision-making processes, and team structure. We also recruited and onboarded the first cohort of investment managers to continue the fund’s activities. Over my 2-year tenure at the club, we invested in 8+ startups and deployed approximately 300k CHF in capital.
