What Is the GCC Bridge Programme

The Graduate Consulting Club (GCC) connects ETH Zurich graduate students with early-stage companies and NGOs through structured pro bono consulting projects. Bridge is the club's core consulting programme.

What I Built

I joined as Consulting Services Manager and later became President, where I designed and scaled the Bridge programme into a structured, multi-project consulting track. This included running 2–3 parallel client projects per semester and building a repeatable delivery model with defined project structure, supervision, and workshops, scaling cohorts from a small group to ~40 students at peak. At the organisational level, I expanded the team from 5 board members to ~25 active contributors by introducing a committee structure and clearer ownership across functions. I also doubled the club's budget and transitioned the event model from cost-neutral to profitable. Clients included ImpactHub Zurich, Carvolution, Swiss Red Cross, PXL Vision, Yamo, and other startups and NGOs across Switzerland.

Clients included: ImpactHub Zurich, BLP Digital, Carvolution, Swiss Red Cross, PXL Vision, Deep Breath Initiative, IngOG, Yamo.

Outcomes

Built a structured consulting programme that scaled from a small, informal initiative to supporting ~60–100 students per year by handover, with multiple parallel client engagements per semester. Established a repeatable delivery model that enabled consistent project execution across teams. Delivered projects for a range of startups and NGOs across Switzerland, while transforming the club's operating model from cost-neutral to financially sustainable through profitable events and improved budget management.
